The Wawel castle, Krakow

Posted 1 year ago by avatar firestar in response to avatar lizette's question: What should I visit on my 2 day trip to Krakow? (give a different answer) .

The biggest tourist attraction in Krakow is by far the Wawel castle on the Wawel hill. This is one of the most important symbols of Poland. Now, it hosts many museums and exhibitions, some of the most important being the State Rooms, The Royal Private apartments or the Royal Tombs. Not to miss is the Dragon's cave. Admission is to be paid separately for each of this locations and it ranges from from 3 to 12 zl. There's also a different fee for children.
