Zelazowa Wola, Chopin's birth place

Posted 1 year ago by posteye in response to adonis's question: Is Chopin birthhouse in Zelazowa Wola open to the public? (give a different answer) .

Yes, 53 km west of Warsaw, there's the tiny village where the great composer lived till he was 20. His house is now a museum, along with the green marked trail starting in Zelazowa Wola and traversing flower meadows - the road he used to take when calling inspiration. Born in 1810 from a French father and Polish mother, he was already famous before moving to Paris. After visiting the museum and park, head for the 17 Oct concert in Warsaw, celebrating the composer's death.
